About

I’ve been on a break.

My life progresses in cycles. The wheel I’ve been on for the last couple of years was large and slow moving. I’m trying to get off it now; tentatively running a few paces alongside it, but then hopping back on.

I hope to be back to writing soon. Sometimes there is not room for everything I like to do and unfortunately Skipping Over Quicksand took a back seat for a while. But I’ve been reading some great books, and it’s made me want to pick up where I left off.

  1. Intereresante tu blog, me gusta leer, creo que todos los que tenemos un blog tratamos de plasmar y transmitir nuestros pensamientos.

  2. Such an inspiring blog, Bridget, in fact such an inspiring woman! But I always knew that, even back in the days when we used to sunbathe on the roof of our apartment block in Tokyo with Gerri!!!!

  3. Good for you! And I mean it. We all have lots of interests and side lines and isn’t it wonderful when the children spread their wings and soar with your compass?

  4. Your life sounds so fun and creative! I wish I found your blog sooner, I’m really looking forward to seeing more. I only managed to find one of your books I have read; The art of happiness by Dalai Lama, do you have any favourite reads you recommend? 🙂

    • Hi Trish. I would recommend all my books! If you visit my Librarium pages (2012,2013 & 2014) you’ll find my thoughts on all the books I’ve read in recent years. I can recommend most of them, but mostly I recommend reading….anything.
