I’ve been on a break.
My life progresses in cycles. The wheel I’ve been on for the last couple of years was large and slow moving. I’m trying to get off it now; tentatively running a few paces alongside it, but then hopping back on.
I hope to be back to writing soon. Sometimes there is not room for everything I like to do and unfortunately Skipping Over Quicksand took a back seat for a while. But I’ve been reading some great books, and it’s made me want to pick up where I left off.
gee, I am your knitting counterpart!
Interesting resume and a nice blog. Best regards.
Intereresante tu blog, me gusta leer, creo que todos los que tenemos un blog tratamos de plasmar y transmitir nuestros pensamientos.

Have just spent a half hour looking at your pics. I travelled a lot in India, Thailand, Japan etc. in the nineties. The golds and reds in your Jaisalmer pics are breathtaking. Well done.
Thank you 🙂 I love India. I spent two months in Burma this year – so amazing….have you been?
Unfortunately not. Your pics do bring back lots of memories – I can almost smell India looking at them!
Sometimes a good and a bad thing!!!!!!
Haha yes!
Thank you for following. 🙂
Such an inspiring blog, Bridget, in fact such an inspiring woman! But I always knew that, even back in the days when we used to sunbathe on the roof of our apartment block in Tokyo with Gerri!!!!
*wistful* those days of yore when we were young and carefree!
Your garden looks lovely!
Mmmm. That was in June. You should (not) see it now!
Hey, thanx for liking my post.
Good for you! And I mean it. We all have lots of interests and side lines and isn’t it wonderful when the children spread their wings and soar with your compass?
Your life sounds so fun and creative! I wish I found your blog sooner, I’m really looking forward to seeing more. I only managed to find one of your books I have read; The art of happiness by Dalai Lama, do you have any favourite reads you recommend? 🙂
Hi Trish. I would recommend all my books! If you visit my Librarium pages (2012,2013 & 2014) you’ll find my thoughts on all the books I’ve read in recent years. I can recommend most of them, but mostly I recommend reading….anything.
